iPad Unlocking Service

You have just purchased a used or refurbished iPad on Ebay, Amazon or Gumtree and it arrives. You switch it on and all looks good, it asks you to select language and country, all looks fine until you get to enter your WIFI settings. You then get to iCloud login screen and you can get no further.

With the iCloud activation lock in place your iPad is un-usable and is only good for use as a paper weight.

To remove the IPad iCloud Activation lock there are three main options.

Method 1

The simple way is to use the Official iPhone Unlock Service Click here.

You then select iCloud Unlock and enter your device serial number or IMIE number if your device is network enabled.

They will then take your details and payment and inform you once this is complete, which normally takes between one to three days. This is a permanent iPad unlocking service and removes the iPad from the original iCloud account allowing you to setup the device as a new iPad.

Method 2

You can bypass the iCloud activation using the DNS / Proxy method.

You first need to restart your iPad, then select language and country.

It will then ask you to connect to a Wi-Fi, do not do this. Tap the home button and you will see other options. Choose more Wi-Fi settings.

Now set your DNS address. Select Manual and for server type in 30 different emojis as the server address.

For Port type in 15 to 30 characters as the port number

Then unlock iPad by sliding and choosing language repeatedly until you get the home screen.

This is not an ideal method and is not permanent but can be used to test the device.

Method 3

You will need to contact the previous owner of the iPad and ask them to remove the device from their ICloud account. This is the simplest method, if you can get hold of them and if they agree to do it.

There are hardware methods for bypassing iCloud on iPad 2, 3, 4 and Air but these involve removing components (resistor) and our different for all models.

This method would also invalidate any warranty and should only be done buy someone with suitable soldering skills.
