East Rhidorroch Estate

The Lodge

The lodge was built in 1926, it has kept its original character with a south facing veranda, an entrance hall, dining room, morning room, a large kitchen and a billiard room People playing pool in the gun room.with a wood burning stove. It's a perfect escape from modern life. Books, board games and badminton take the place of television. Thanks to the surrounding hills, there is no mobile phone reception. You are welcome to pick wild flowers and herbs from the walled garden. Fishing for wild brown trout on the river and three lochs with boats is included in the rent. After a day on the hill, relax into deep sofas in front of the fire in the gun room.

Three double, two twin and one single bedrooms, two of which are en-suite. The lodge has access to a deep freeze, washing/drying room and a telephone. A plentiful supply of logs for the fire, electricity from our own water turbine and gas-fired hot water are included in the rent. We provide duvets and pillows and can supply linen. A cot is available.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control as it is a working farm.

If you are staying at the Lodge you can arrange for a cook or order a meat box ready for your arrival by contacting us in advance.

The self-catered lodge is available for a party of 11 from £1300 per week.
