Manchester Mis-sold Eastbridge Investments Compensation Claims

Eastbridge Investments PLC is a company that was previously registered in Jersey and had a listing on the Alternative Investment Market. It was an unregulated, high-risk investment.

The investment had the ticker EVIV, and it lost its value in October 2015, falling to £0.00 and later being de-listed from the AIM market. There was a meeting of the creditors called in 2016, under Section 98 of the Insolvency Act.

Unfortunately, this means that anyone who had invested in Eastbridge Investments PLC have lost their investment.

Eastbridge Investments Were Part of the Beaufort Securities DFM Portfolios

The Discretionary Fund Management firm Beaufort Securities invested at least one person’s pension money into Eastbridge Investments in 2015 as a part of the SIPP. An Ombudsman case determined that the person in question had a Low/Medium risk profile, and that the investments that Beaufort Securities selected for him were not suitable. The Ombudsman says that they believe there cannot be any real dispute that the investor wanted a low/medium investment strategy, and that the selected investments, in their opinion, did not meet that.
