Pension Claims Can Be Filed Against Bedfordshire-Based Total Wealth Solutions
There were at minimum three formal complaints lodged against Total Wealth Solutions prior to the company shutting its doors. Financial officials ruled in favor of the complainants in all cases, forcing the company that offers pension advice to go out of business.
The Financial Conduct Authority is no longer allowing the company to do business. Total Wealth Solutions has entered the liquidation phase and is officially closed.
A news story released by the news media detailed the events leading up to the company’s demise. Voluntarily self-destructing, executives at Total Wealth Solutions knew what they were doing when they engaged with the Green Retirement Pension Plan.
In regards to claims, a voluntary liquidator was selected by a firm that had FOS decisions against it previously. The claims themselves were to be handled by the FSCS.
The liquidator appointed is Clarke Belle, as noted by the London Gazette. This will mark the end of the wealth solutions company based in Bedfordshire as business comes to a close.
The scheme set up for the Green Retirement Pension Plan was called into question in early 2017, and 76 of its members were notified. They were advised to file a claim against Total Wealth Solutions.
The plantation known as Para Sky was one of the major investments selected for the Green Retirement Pension Plan. This investment in the global forestry sector has been part of an ongoing fraud investigation since 2015.
That particular investment and others within the GRPP were classified as high risk. Consequently, this entitles people to file a claim against Total Wealth Solutions.
