Most of the competition in the area were parts of large chains such as sketchleys, which was not the standard of what was required. As our reputation grew there was a temptation to expand but we felt that we could not give the same level of service in more than one branch and we soon understood that customers were prepared to travel to us for the extra level of service they were getting even if they were not locals. ‘I’ve just been reflecting on Haywards and how we started and where we are today. We are experts in high end night outfits and difficult sphere dress, we are likewise recognized for the quickest and cheapest cleaners in the area for day to day garments.
