This page explains how to report something in the Parklangley Club app ("the App") box chatrooms, what we do about it, how to appeal if we've acted against you, and how to complain about us. The App is provided by Appified Ltd, and these processes are run by us, not by The Parklangley Club.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 first. Then tell us, so we can act in the App too.
You can report anything you think is illegal, such as threats, harassment, hate, fraud, intimate images shared without consent, or anything involving a child. You can also report anything that breaks the chatroom rules in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.
You don't need to be in the box, or a member of the club, to report something to us by email.
If we removed a message of yours, the word filter blocked one, or we suspended your access to the chatrooms or the App, and you think we got it wrong:
You can also complain if you think we didn't deal with a report properly, didn't follow the steps on this page, wrongly kept you out of the chatrooms (for example because of your age), or aren't meeting our duties under the Online Safety Act 2023. Email admin@appifieduk.com; we acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and reply in full within 14 days.
The person at Appified Ltd responsible for online safety, and for reports and complaints, is its director, who can be contacted at the same address.
Ofcom regulates online safety in the UK. It doesn't resolve individual complaints, but you can tell it about a concern at ofcom.org.uk. For complaints about how we use your personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
Behaviour between members, on or off court, is also covered by The Parklangley Club's own rules and code of conduct. For concerns about safeguarding or conduct at the club itself, please also contact the club.
