DEPUTY CARTMAN
Version 1.0

INSTRUCTIONS:

Introduction:

* The game consists of five levels and an introductory
  basic training level.
* The first three levels consist of lower level enemies
followed by a boss character. The final two levels
  are just boss characters.
* The level is complete when you defeat the boss(es).
* The game is over when you complete all five levels or
lose all your energy in any one level.

Keyboard Commands:

* The commands pertaining to each level are given at the
  beginning of each level.
* Basically, "Shift" = Attack
	     "Ctrl"  = Jump
	     "Z"     = Special

Technical Notes:

* This game was designed on a Pentium 200 MMX machine with
96 MB of RAM. Systems under this mark may experience
slower gameplay and systems above this may experience
accelerated gameplay. 200 was about average at the time
  the game was developed.

Known Problems:

* Level 2: There was an unresolvable glitch when designing
the game that you can walk into the silver blocks.
My advice is to try to work on timing your jumps to be
stopped near where you want to go and press the arrow key
and jump key at the same time.

* Shooting: Sometimes your gun will "jam" and you can't
fire. Assuming you're not out of ammo, press the arrow
key in the direction you wish to fire and press the fire
key. The same sometimes happens to the nightstick.

* Do not try to go in the direction opposite of where you
are supposed to go (normally you're supposed to go to the
right). If you go too far left the game may not work
correctly. Don't do it. You'll have to start over.

Tips 'n' Tricks:

* Basic Training: Use this opportunity to learn how to time
your attacks. This will be crucial on Level 2 & 4. Don't
swing wildly. One timed swing of your nightstick is all it
takes to do damage to or kill your opponent.

* Level 1: Use what you learned in Basic Training. One timed
swing either while running or while jumping will do it.
  Don't miss the donuts!

* Level 2: Make sure you get the American flag. That gives
you a CIA Black Army Helicopter attack. Use it against the
boss and you'll inflict a lot of damage. When you get to
the boss, take out the ground troops and then ride an
elevator block shooting the crap out of the boss.

* Level 3: Avoid the barriers at all cost. They take out
twice as much as hitting a car or letting a car hit the
bottom of the screen. For you own decision making process:
Hit car, lose 1; car hit bottom, lose 1; you hit barrier,
lose 2; get donut, get 3. Use cost-benefit analysis, MB=MC!

* Level 4: Timing is everything on this board. Remember, you
can't attack when you're singing so stay off to the side.
Kyle can't run into you when you are singing and facing the
far right wall. He can throw gahagafaka however. Pretend
your deputy blues are made of velcro and stick to the
  wall if you can.

* Level 5: No hints, good luck!

Enjoy the game!!!!!!!!!!!

Note: I do not offer tech support for this game. If it does
not run I am sincerely sorry but I can't help you.
