Day 4 - Friday, April 17 We walked to Mar Lodge for lunch where I left Charlie to wait for Ann (coming from Edinburgh!). I walked on to Braemar for the bus which arrived in Aberdeen five minutes after the last Edinburgh train left. I hung around the town till the first train in the morning which reached Edinburgh in time to watch the departure of a steam special headed by A4 60009 "Union of South Africa".
