Monday, 27th

On my way back north, I spotted a crowd by the railway line near Waikanae and stopped to witness the passing of Ka945 hauling a special excursion train of 17 coaches from Wellington to Palmerston North to mark the centenary of the Wellington and Manawatu Railway.

A brief visit to Rotorua — Sunday, 14 December 1986

A group from the office went down to Rotorua on the Saturday to play indoor cricket against some friends from Wanganui.
These photos were taken down by the lake the following morning before breakfast.
