Glenbrook Vintage Railway

Just south of Auckland,

GVR No.1      Built 1910 at Hillside Works, Dunedin as Wg class, rebuilt as Ww class in 1951
at Hutt Works. Withdrawn 1969 at Greymouth.

GVR No.4      Mallet (France) design built in 1913 by the American Locomotive Company for the
Taupo Totara Timber Company. Retired in 1958.
