Whistlefield

(Most of these are filed as 1965 but I wonder if it was 1964.)
Whistlefield is the hill between the Gareloch (in the background here) and Loch Long. It is crossed by the A814 (Dumbarton - Arrochar) road and the Glasgow - Oban/Fort William railway. A well-known test of cyclist and locomotive fireman's stamina.

The McGees were visiting Glasgow and we borrowed Uncle Gerry's car for the occasion.
