I believe this is the family of Mary Ann Goodwin who married William Rogan in 1875.
I don't know if this belongs here but it might just fit.
1848 From the Register of Baptisms for St. Mary's, Abercromby Street, Glasgow
John, lawful child of George Goodin and Anne Goodin, five weeks old, was baptised on October 15 by Fr. John Aylward with sponsors James Conly and Catherine Conly.
1851 I have not yet consulted this census, the Old Monkland West film is missing from the Mitchell Library.
1855 Margaret Goodwin was born at 7h a.m. on Monday, June 25 at Clyde Iron Works to George Goodwin, Furnaceman at Ironworks and Ann Goodwin m.s. Carrol who married in 1841 at N.T. Butler [possibly wrong]. Her birth was registered No.152 at Baillieston on July 11 by George Goodwin, Father, Present.
Since this is 1855, there is additional information on the certificate about the parents. George was 35 years old, born at Newton Butler, Fermanagh, Ireland, with one boy and two girls living, two boys and two girls deceased. Ann was 30 years old, born at Killeevin, Monaghan, Ireland and Margaret was her 8th child.
Margaret was baptised in the parish of St Paul's, Eastmuir on July 8 by Fr Patrick McLaughlin with sponsors Alexander Sinclair and Ellen McOdd (?).
1858 Elizabeth Goodwin was born at 5h0m p.m. on Thursday, May 13 at Clyde Iron Works to George Goodwin, Furnaceman and Ann Goodwin m.s. Carroll. Her birth was registered No.147 at Faulds, Baillieston [Old Monkland West] on May 28 by George Goodwin, Father, Present.
Elizabeth was baptised in the parish of St Paul's, Eastmuir on June 27 by Fr Patrick McLaughlin with sponsors Patrick McDonald and Elizabeth O'Brien.
1861 Jane Goodwin was born at 7h a.m. on Monday, January 7, at Clyde Iron Works to George Goodwin, Furnaceman and Ann Goodwin m.s. Cavrill (?) who married in Monaghan, Ireland. Her birth was registered No. 19 at Faulds, Baillieston (District of Old Monkland West) on January 21 by George Goodwin, "his X mark", Father.
Jane was baptised in the parish of St Paul's, Eastmuir on January 27 by Fr Patrick McLaughlin with sponsors Patrick Carroll and Catherine Carroll. Her mother's maiden name is recorded as Carville.
1861 April 8 The family were living in Rail Row, Clyde Iron Works in a house in which there were probably two rooms with windows, one of which was used by the family and one by the lodger (is what I infer from the census entry).

It might be down to the Famine and its after-effects or it might have been some cataclysmic event, perhaps prompting or during the move to Scotland. Or they might just have been left with family in Ireland. I really will have to check for the family in the census of 1851.
1863 On Tuesday, September 29, James married Catherine Morgan [or Meigan] at St Paul's R.C. Church, Eastmuir, Shettleston. [See Section GW-6-1 for further information.]
1866 Jane Goodwin (Illegitimate) was born between 12 and 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10 "In her Father's house", Clyde Iron Works to Mary Ann Goodwin (no father named). Her birth was registered No. 63 at Faulds, Baillieston by Mary Ann Goodwin, "her X mark", Mother on February 29, 1868.
Jane was baptised in the parish of St Paul's, Eastmuir on November 29, 1866 by Fr Patrick McLaughlin with sponsor Ann Carroll. Her father is named as Peter Kennedy and her date of birth given as November 16 (which may be more reliable than the registration fifteen months later).
1867 January 29 The marriage of James McCabe and Roseann Goodwin was conducted by Fr. Patrick McLaughlin in the parish of St Paul's Eastmuir, with witnesses John McCabe and Elizabeth Reavey. [to be confirmed]
1871 I have not yet consulted this census, the Old Monkland West film is missing from the Mitchell Library.
1875 On Thursday, November 11, Mary Ann married William Rogan in St. Mungo's Chapel, Glasgow. [See Section RG-6-1 for further information.]
