THE WORKBENCH

The design workbench is where you will design, build and test your chip.

In the centre is the area where you will lay down silicon and metal to create a chip, using the tools available on the top row.

Down the sides, you have a set of switches for sending inputs and LEDs for monitoring outputs, plus a pair of power supply terminals. All of these are pre-connected to the corresponding contact pads on the chip.
