EXPERIMENT 2
You're
probably getting bored with all this reading, so it's time for another
experiment. First, get rid of the metal track you created before by
selecting the Metal tool, holding down the Alt key (Option key on Mac)
and dragging over it.
Now select the N tool (the light blue cross) and use it to draw a vertical line 7 cells high as shown at right.
Select
the Metal tool again and draw three more lines: one from the top of the
N strip to the VCC pad, one from the bottom end to the GND pad, and one
from the middle to one of the output pins, such as PIN7.

Finally, select the via tool and click on the three spots shown with small circles, to create connections between the metal tracks and the silicon.
Now, turn on your Q-Goggles and you'll be treated to a display like this!
