These instructions will explain the functions of the fx Calculator
The fx Calculator is able to convert to a currency to select, with the rate you set, there are no online connections or roaming data charges from this app. The rate you set will typically be the rate you exchanged your money for. Unlike other foreign exchange apps, this app will not update daily with the latest fx rate. This is by design. We think when you exchange your money, this is the rate you want to convert too. Also, some countries (USA) display the price of goods without tax. We have included a ‘Add Sales Tax’ button to provide you with the total price expected to pay. This is invaluable if you are paying with cash….do I have enough etc?
The screen below is the start up screen. You will see that the FX rate and Sales Tax have not been set
You can use the calculator without setting these, but you will not be able to convert currently or add sales tax
